Registration / signing in and out

Signing in takes place from 9.30-9.45am . Please try to arrive by 9.45am at the latest as we will be trying to get the children into their groups and onto the courts after this time. Signing in will be in the clubhouse except for Thursdays when it will be at the tennis court area. Children must be signed in and out by an adult with a member of the coaching team. Signing out will be at 11am for 3-4 year olds, 1pm for the morning session and 4pm for the whole-day session.

PLEASE NOTE: For 3 & 4 year olds, parents are required to stay.

Children who are attending for the full day should bring a packed lunch.

What to bring / wear

Children should bring drinks & snacks. Clothing should be sports-wear and shoes should be non-marking trainers. Children should wear appropriate clothing for the weather e.g. hats & sun cream in hot weather, warm clothes / hats / gloves for cold weather. Children should bring rackets if they have them, but we have spares if not.

Bad Weather

We will continue to play as much as possible. If the weather becomes too bad we will go inside where we will have various activities. This will range from board games to group games in the squash courts. We will get the children back outside onto the tennis courts as soon as possible. If there is a chance of bad weather, children should bring suitable clothing. This will mean that they can stay outside for longer and play more tennis. If there are days where it seems that there will be no chance of tennis, we may cancel the camp. In this case, you will be refunded for the time that they miss.

There are sometimes short periods where we do not have access to enough courts. These periods are usually less than 30 minutes and usually in the earlier part of the morning. During these times, we may take a group of children onto the grass and do fitness / agility / speed / co-ordination / volley practice. We get the children back onto the courts as soon as possible.

Finally, I hope your child has a great time at the tennis camp. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Karl.
